Tijdens het vak City Discourse verkende we de vele aspecten van de moderne stad en als eindopdracht was het idee 2 of meer City trends te combineren en een concept te bedenken. In een team van 5 hebben wij “The Moss Movement” bedacht. The Moss Movement combineert de trend “Reduce Reuse and Recycle”, “Carbon Footprint” “Crowdfunding” & “Crowdsourcing”. Het concept is als volgt:
The Moss Movement is a club / group / movement that is involved with making the city more green with magnificently beautiful moss. We want to ensure that, usually gray and drab, city comes to life again by placing moss.
Moss can be applied to buildings in many different ways, both horizontally and vertically on a roof on a wall. There are different types of moss, each with its own structure and color. Because of this variation, the possibilities are endless. Think of art, logos, etc. Everything is possible with moss!
In addition to these creative possibilities moss also good for the environment! It helps in the reduction of CO2 that is emitted by all traffic in a city.
